With the support of the project "German-Ukrainian Cooperation in Organic Agriculture (COA)", the Biodynamics Association of Ukraine, together with the organic farm Zhyva Zemlya Potutory from the Ternopil region, has organized and successfully implemented a three-year "school" under the theme "INTRODUCTORY COURSE IN BIODYNAMICS 2022-2025". This "school" combined face-to-face lectures with practical exercises on this Ukrainian organic farm, which is certified according to Ukrainian and European specifications.

On 27-30 March 2025, the last module of a total of 8 modules took place as part of this three-year school on the topic of "Natural Intimate Interactions, Landscape Design" for the 7th lecture of the "Agricultural Course". The speaker in this module was Jean-Michel Florin – Co-Chairman of Demeter International.

Participants in these trainings included representatives from the Ukrainian organic sector, higher education institutions, NGOs, private gardeners – almost 40 people from all over Ukraine came to this last module. Unfortunately, not all organic farmers involved in the school were able to be there this time – some are now in the Ukrainian army. An organic farmer came to this module directly from the front. A total of more than 250 participants from all over Ukraine took part in the 8 modules. 

Svitlana Shchokina, COA member, who translated the expert speakers from the EU into Ukrainian during the modules, concluded by noting: "It was impressive to see how the participants have found the opportunity and the strength since 2022 to participate in these modules, to learn together, to exchange ideas and to receive many impulses for the further development of their companies, despite the russian war of aggression. This gave and still gives strength and courage for the future".

At the end of the 8th module, the participants present each received a certificate of successful participation from the hands of Evgeniya Yushchenko, Chairwoman of the Biodynamics Association of Ukraine. She, the farm in Potutory and all participants thanked the COA project for the support in the implementation of this module and for the contribution made to the development of organic farming and other sustainable environmental practices in Ukraine.
