More than 120 scientists, organic producers, specialists of certification bodies, representatives of public and international organizations took part in the XIIth International Scientific and Practical Conference "Organic Production and Food Security: Digital Technologies and Innovations", which took place on May 15, 2025, in the city of Zhytomyr. The conference was organized by Polissya National University and Federation of the Organic Movement of Ukraine with support of "German-Ukrainian Cooperation in the Field of Organic Agriculture" project.

The conference became a platform for discussing innovative solutions for the organic sector, the experience of using digital technologies in organic production and compliance with current requirements to the quality of organic products, as well as European approaches to organization of agricultural production. Participants of the conference had an opportunity to get acquainted with results of scientific research in organic production, with practical experience of leading Ukrainian producers of organic products, as well as hear presentations from representatives of foreign organic certification bodies and industry associations on the use of digital technologies in their work. During the conference, "German-Ukrainian Cooperation in the Field of Organic Agriculture" project presented the advantages of the Organic Knowledge Platform as a source of diverse information and practical materials about the organic sector in Ukrainian language, which are accessible to scientists, teachers, students, practitioners and participants of the organic movement.

The XIIth International Scientific and Practical Conference "Organic Production and Food Security: Digital Technologies and Innovations" showed that organic production in Ukraine, despite extremely difficult conditions, is developing due to the introduction of modern innovative agricultural technologies, digital solutions, as well as due to strengthening of international cooperation and active integration into the European and world markets of organic products.
