In 2023, our project, "German-Ukrainian Cooperation in Organic Agriculture"  supported the NGO Permaculture in Ukraine with a sustainable solution - solar panels! 

With the funding of 20.000 Euro and an additional 17.000 Euro from the Deutsche Zukunftsstiftung Landwirtschaft (German Future Foundation for Agriculture), Permaculture in Ukraine was able to buy 9 sets of solar panels, converters and batteries. 

These solar setups found their new homes in permaculture centers and ecovillages across Ukraine, all of which are part of the "Green Road of Ecovillages" project (in collaboration with NGO GEN Ukraine).

These communities are not just advocating for sustainable living; they're actively organizing educational events and supporting small agricultural producers and help refugees in Ukraine. 

In a time marked by electricity outages due to war and instability, this support enables Ukrainian communities to not only survive but continue their essential work in the fields of ecology and civil society development.
