"German-Ukrainian Cooperation in the Field of Organic Agriculture" (COA) supported and took part in the round table "World Bee Day as a Manifesto of Importance and Protection of Pollinators" which was help on May 20, 2024 in Kyiv. This event was organized by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, national NGO "Foundation for Women-Beekeepers" and "German-Ukrainian Agricultural Policy Dialogue" Project (APD) as a part of the annual events dedicated to the International Bee Day.

The participants of the round table - representatives of national associations of beekeepers, producers, scientists and representatives of government agencies and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine discussed main aspects of the development of the industry, shared their experience of successful production and scientific research and also provided information on international initiatives to support sustainable beekeeping in Ukraine. This round table, as well as other events within the framework of World Bee Day 2024, became an effective platform for communication between producers, scientists and representatives of the authorities and public organizations, and also confirmed the trend of successful development of the beekeeping industry in Ukraine.
