AFC’s project Cooperation in Organic Agriculture (COA) supported an online discussion platform held on April 16, within the framework of the V International «Congress Organic Ukraine 2021».
As of April 1, 2021, Dr. Stefan Dreesmann has taken over the project leadership of the COA project. Thanks to his professional background and many years of experience in organic legislation and the promotion of the organic sector, he will in the future support the Ukrainian project partners in the implementation of the organic law with his great know-how.
The webinar was carried out on 15 December 2020 by the project “German-Ukrainian Cooperation in Organic Agriculture” (COA) in cooperation with the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine (MEDTA).

Taras Kachka, Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine spoke as panelist within the framework of the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA). Topic of the discussion was “How to better cope with change: New approaches for food system resilience to pandemic and climatic shocks”.
On January 22, 2021, another meeting was held of the Organic Working Group, that has been established by the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture (MDETA) to address issues related to Ukrainian organic legislation.
